its like, sorting out how we show our love/appreciation/care/concern
into 5 things:
-touch
-gifts
-words of affirmation
-quality time
-acts of service

its like so cool!
so for example, each of us has this "love tank" in us
and like, when other people show love to us through different ways, the "tank" is filled
eg. person A's love language is quality time. So when others spend quality time with A, A feels loved and the tank is filled!
but eg. person B's LL is gifts and gives A a gift, A wont feel as loved as much as if A were to spend quality time with B.

how to determine which LL are you? (or another person)
observe the person's actions, way of thinking, likes/dislikes
for example, me!
i love to hug people, shake hands, hi-5, poke and whatever.
so guess what LL do i speak?
touch, duh
gifts, expresses appreciation by giving gifts
words, thanks by praising
act of service, shows gratitude by helping physically
quality time, loves to spend time tgt

so on and so forth.

when u determine someone's LL, it would be the best if you love that person according to his/her LL. And i strongly believe that this works! So try it out!

eg. gifts the easiest, presents!
words, thank, praise the person for their actions...
so on.

cuz im totally bored. nothing to do
and many many MANY things just pop into my head.

when something/someone finishes burning, they burn-out
a smile is a very good way to avoid things, get out of trouble, etc
eating junk food when you are sick doesn't help very much

i never knew so much was going on, not till i looked out to the opposite block of flats
i am not organized, slack too much, not willing to work unless i am totally into something (eg. Frisbee)

i do not have any ambition

of all things, we got 2nd again ._.
and the worst part abt this is that we din lose because the opponent was better
or we played badly.
but because kranji just had to win.
yea they did , in both the games we played against them.
1st scenario:
freaking obvious.
they threw the disc out, so we picked it up and scored.
then they blatantly lied and said they wanted a substitution.
when you can only sub when someone scores -.-
so that point was void. like wtf

2nd scenario:
ok this was partially my fault.
i dived and caught the disc. landed barely inside.
and slided "out"
if we protested, it would have been a point and we would have won!
yea, that was "if".

3rd scenario:
final point!
the deciding factor, who was the champion
after a freaking intense time.
2 players of kranji caught the disc.
one of them inside and other one outside.
the one outside caught it 1st, thn the one inside grabbed the disc as well
after consulting the "assistant"
he said that that point was void.
but we only consulted him after kranji pranced around and were crowned champion.

the best one of all.
we went to tell them all out findings and asked for one last point.
guess wad? they did not dare to defend their title and said that it was late and they needed to go.
aww, champions chickening out?

well i guess we cant blame them huh?
after playing dirty and not being honest.
would anyone in their right mind stay and defend whats not theirs?

why not at least tell us what the glitches are, why the patch cannot be put through, what maintenance is being done, or at least give us something to do instead of letting us wait, or at least an estimation?

You know how many people cancelled appointments with friends and families just to play that new patch yesterday, but which still hasn't been released?

It has been 26 hours. There are many capable people outside of your company who could offer valuable help if you have any problems with the maintenance of the game.

If you could only be less arrogant and more open-minded to the opinions and suggestions of othes, you would have told us more instead of keeping us waiting and deceiving us with the lie that you could fix it when you actually couldn't.

You can at least post a thread here asking for help and i'm sure many people would volunteer to give suggestions on how to fix the problem.

Also, in the future, do not give us a promise which you are unable to keep.

today was so eventful...

early morning wake up 1st ting... play com! dad not around and mom outta town so...

then afternoon went toa payoh play badminton... so tired... *yawn*

grabbed waffles and saw the band that was gonna perform that night... quite good lah(i don like the bassist... so "unfit" to be one) the lead guitar was nt bad...

went home wash up and go eat dinner ... dad suggest we go see the band and it was nt a wasted trip... they ROCKED!
It turned out that the band was performing for the orange ribbon celebrations... so cool!

i got a badge and this is wad it says on the card that comes with it

11 more days to CIMO fiesta... so looking forward to it...
today...like almost every other tuesday... onli me n cheng went bak to HGPS... vic did not answer or reply... darryl had soccer... junhao go support VS in choa chu kang stadium... olivia did not wanna come...iva as usual had netball and we did not bother to call kuan liang...
in the end... me n cheng lo...

we saw the percussion band which was so COOL!
neva had it back during our days... so unfair sia... now the skool so upgraded...
heard that in a few years... they will build a indoor sports hall... and on the roof is a basketball court? hai yah... time will tell...

Our legs were tormented today... i tripped over a guys bag while trying to catch the frisbee and my thigh got hit by the metal edge of the tingy that we are supposed to store our bags in(yes... the one that me n ken use to hide in) got numb but onli felt the pain after awhile...
then cheng suddenly say she hates milo... so weird wan... dunno wad happen lah...
met a few new ppl while playing soccer with them... realised that i can still play with a tennis-ball although i cant dribble really well(the ball so damn small!)

went to HGpoint and cheng tried the fruit tree fresh cranberry n pomegranate... found it sour as she says... that place under renovation now... veri hard to find tings...
basically that is wad we do almost every tuesday!

well... erm... cant rmb abt the past few days... but today was FUN! for the 1st time... during PE... that we were able to play... started with touch-rugby... which sucked like hell... everyone was arguing over the rules...crap crap... then came the fun bit....... CONTACT RUGBY!!!

which started when sum1 decided not to follow the rules and ran thru everyone... then opponents gain possession and all my team mates were up front...(obviously i was slacking lah...no action wad...so sit @ the try line lo...) then sum1(which i cant rmb again!!!dang...) ran all the way and i took him down... then ran all the way to the otherside...!! then comes alot of running and falling down and ppl getting "tao pok"ed. basically NO RULES RUGBY!!!

after that of course kena warning by teacher lah...(but not our PE teacher leh^^... he was smiling away looking @ us...)maybe he isn't that bad after all...

yesterday was the milk run... dammid wasted 3, 4 hours of my life there? and i did not even get MILK!!!! nvm... when abt 5? 6? then finish sia... went over to jun hao area dat street-soccer court. met a couple of Randy's friends who totally suck! even randy agrees...(right randy?... RANDY!!!!!!! dam, muz b sleeping...stupid pig) they are totally street-soccer idiots... except for maybe a few lucky shots... they blamed randy for every rong ting that happened... i feel sad for you man... really...then jun hao came... played 2 games and finish liao!? losers... ran went friend hse to eat... turned out they had a pt or sumting. i got him to tapao some food for us^^

think i so cheap skate wan meh? lemme summarize everything. holiday track n field camp. dam fun, i most of the time topless back in our "bunk" (actually a classroom where 8 ppl sleep in). next year must rmb to bring money to camps.(seniors actually sneak out of school @ night to the nearby Esso to get "supplies" we can actually roll under the gates and get out!)

Frisbee competition... WE RULE!!!! (considering the fact that we are the youngest and are pathetically short compared to our strongest opponents, RJC 4) dam fun. Jun Hao dunno fall how many times during the 2 days. kuan liang did a homerun(man that was impossible) i threw and he from behind me ran all the way to the scoring zone AND CAUGHT it. Darryl could hav scored a few more. Jun Hao was abit reckless but he was great, Ivalyn... u use breathless hack ah? won get tired wan. victor was probably not used to playing at the competitive level but was ok. cheng...cheng...cheng... yr eye dam sad sia. kena wack. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... eh oh ya still got me!
lemme try to recall...............................................wait ah, i go eat, veri hungry leh. neva eat dinner...11.38pm now....... ok im back 2 mins later full and ready to go! but i still cant rmb aniting abt me.... coach nigel! yea i rmb that, his famous 3 words "do" "your" "best" or sumting lidat. and the cheer! ready... 1...2...3... CHEER!!!. inventd my me n junhao^^ basically had lots and lots of fun. thanks alot wei lie and li qun our team managers. thanks alot RJC 4 for being a great opponent. thanks to everyone who made the event possible and of course the plate that got broken and fixed back with a few holes here and there.

Ok... posting for these few days i guess... yesterday was the last training we had before our frisbee competition... and i could say it was a satisfying one... the whole morning that we were suppose to train, we played soccer with guys that seemed like they juz came out of the army or sumting. well it was the 1st look @ darryl's new shoes for street soccer... red... real shocking...
Then went to amk to meet cheng and iva and we were super late... (we= junhao, kuan liang, vic, darryl and me!) missed 159 thanks to randy... then went to sum place which i cannot rmb where... and settled the team jerseys! quite cool i might add... that was around 1pm i guess. but none of us ate lunch yet and we finished around 3? and i did not eat breakfast too... luckily vic's mom bought him a packet of char siew rice... or else i wud hav starved... then after that... the real training began at... where else but... SUMO HOUSE!!! (the one at Ang Mo Kio) all of us ate the same thing... katsudon if im not rong... and ordered some other side dishes. And that was the best training i ever had... STOMACH TRAINING! Well... got to keep out act together!

Okok... basically posting for the past few days and tml... Frisbee training is so fun... almost every other day that i don hav Track n Field there is frisbee!!! *WOO HOO!*
Sorry for laughing @ u Randy... the Push-pop is not that bad... (besides the way u SUCK it!! XP ) In the end... Shawn, Vic, Ran N me all bought the push-pop when having lunch @ the kopitiam near ken's place... Vic bought 1 for Nigel cuz Darryl did not wanna get 1... then all had fun "sucking". Kinda realised that we play more of other sports during trainings... Bascerball (Basketball with a soccer ball), Socket(Soccer with a basketball), Goaltimate(Shooting the frisbee into a "goal"), when we are competeting in Ultimate frisbee... lucky today did some Ultimate. But seriously... we slack all the time... when say meet @ 10, in the end drag to 11... nidda work more on our determination... its not that we cannot make it on time, its we don wanna make it on time. ( im using we so as to make it not seem like im blaming ppl, good tactic to use sometimes ) Thanks lots to Randy and Shawn, who still came and made the numbers! Without u guys... we could never had gotten any training done!!!

Ok... finally back. Today the dragonboat was like crap. TOTALLY CRAP! The guy sitting in front of me was like so outta-sync. Kept hitting his paddle and made me hit the side of the boat so many times... In the end!!!! we got last XD. Then went to Toa Payoh makan. Went foodcourt eat with classmates: Elston, Glenn, and not forgetting MUNDEE!!!(edmund) Toufiq went eating on his own... segregation ... sad thing... and then Elston N i both got WHATEVER! When i went to the aunty to order. It was so weird. i say i wanted whatever and she said this :" HAH? Si meh wa-eva hah?" then luckily got another aunty come and hand me the "whatevers" Elston got ice lemon tea while i got peach tea. seemed like a lucky-draw don't u tink?
Then we went back to skool... Elston N i had PTM... time to face the music... Everything was fine and i finished my "optical illusion" , there was no illusion though... and thats... all for today i guess... juz another ordinary ol-day... and everyone grows another 1 day older...while one day is deducted from our lives...

Whoa, finally i am back after SOOO long. Seems that my com had a prob (which i still cannot fix, DAMMID!) Well, seems that the "destructive recovery" did not work... I guess i really nidda reformat my com? God noes... So much to post, so little time TO post... Well, busted my left leg AGAIN and went to see a chinese physician yesterday and he said i could not run/jump/play sports/take cold stuff FOR ONE WEEK! and i cant take part in the Sports Fiesta... Common Test week is over, FINALLY, but maybe it was better to have the tests, (we got to slack alot, well, I did XP) History and Geography paper was abit tough...nevermind! i will work harder(i hope...)

Ai yah... today dam sad. First, my shoes did not dry thanks to the early morning rain. Luckily they were not totally wet as i woke up @ 5 just to get them in. Amazed @ myself as I could actually get up @ 5 am when i slept @ 1 am ... Then thanks to the rain, the frisbee "training" today was screwed, totally! All the fields we went to were muddy and we did not bother to check out bishan park as according to Victor, it was muddy as well (he had cross-country yesterday). Nothing much done today... Then all came over to my place! (even though i said it was in a mess...) So, we grabbed our bags and crossed the road to 7-11 and got things to eat? In the end only Cheng Ling got some milk and Nigel got ice-cream. Then, proceeded to my house ! The time we spent in my house well ... all slack lor! 5 people in a empty house, with only one girl! (eh, whoever is reading this, don think anything that is sick and wrong hor!) Table-soccer was fun and then watch movie! Nigel had to leave early, poor guy got tuition but luckily darryl could stay! If im not wrong, it was Nigel's 1st time taking the bus alone? Cheng Ling watched Step Up while we played table-soccer, where I totally owned Darryl and Victor then we played cards and then Victor had to leave. Onli 3 ppl left! so we decided to watch more movies ... in the end, we watched 300 and Click. Darryl was like Mr. No Emo! totally emotionless ( something must be wrong with him...) then they all left @ 7. At the doorstep, i asked them to check their belongings to see if they left anything behind. Both checked and said nothing was left and Darryl could not thread his shoe-lace! So i did it for him and then they happily walked off. I then walked to the toilet to see if they left their socks behind (We played in muddy fields and they washed their shoes) and i found the frisbees... REALLY CARELESS GUYS! So i called Cheng and she was like " Oh ya hor! HOW COULD WE HAVE FORGOTTEN!" and i asked them where they were, " We are like very near the bus-stop" ( im still wondering how could they have walked that fast!) and She said that i keep the frisbee till Labour Day, when we are meeting for another round of "training". Hopefully I won't forget and pray to GOD that it won't rain, or we will slack for the WHOLE DAY again...
Well, good luck to the teams success in reaching our goal of 3rd this year =)

Ok...posting for yesterday( too tired to post) Well, to put it simply, sports day! Only got 1 gold medal( could have gotten 2 but thanks to Karthik...) After the 4 X 400 he told me this..." Eh Martin, next year I don't wanna run relay anymore. I want to take all the individual events like 400m, 800m, 1500m and 3000m." And i was thinking, " you screwed up big time and you still want me to trust you?" He totally screwed the whole 4 X 400 race! Luckily we had Rachakan to take his place for 4 X 100 or we would be Totally owned...THANKS ALOT KARTHIK! Well, whats done cannot be undone, every mistake gives room for improvement or something like that... Too bad Karthik, you had your chance and you blew it. Probably no hope for next year unless I'm no longer in the Class Com or we are THAT desperate. Good luck trying to impress me!
